UPC Renewables would like to develop its business in Asia & Pacific region and has established its Beijing representative office in China in 2006. With a growing business within the Asia Pacific region, and China in particular, we would like to recruit the following positions: 

Position 1              :  Lawyer

Position Number         : 1

Reporting to              : Country Manager of China

Work Location           : Beijing

Qualifications           : Master’s degree or above in Law with the PRC Lawyer License

Job purpose             :  Acting as legal consultant within UPC China for day to day provision of legal services and support to Business Development in China;  Advising Country Manager and other department staff in all legal areas with emphasis on developing, drafting and negotiating project related contracts. 

Job Responsibility    :  Developing, drafting and negotiating project contracts ，Ensuring that the business operation/transactions are in compliance with the applicable law;Providing cost effective and value added services to the business; Good problem solving in helping clients in achieving their business objectives within applicable constraints;   Broad awareness of legal issues, Corporate and Company policies and governance issues so that company could make business decisions at the appropriate time.

Experience              :  At least 5- 8 years experience, preferably in the energy field;Experience gained in Engineering and large project experience will be advantage;  Broad awareness of legal issues, Corporate and Company policies and governance issues.
